FOOD | Roasted Cayenne potatoes

Roasted Cayenne potatoes recipe
When you’re cooking just for yourself it can sometimes become a bit of a chore. More than cooking for two or three people, in fact. That’s why I’m always on the lookout for simple and quick but also tasty recipes which are easily adjustable to one person portions. These roasted Cayenne potatoes are one of my favourite recipes for a quick light supper after a long day at work.

What will you need?
✓ potatoes
✓ Cayenne pepper
✓ mixed chicken spice
✓ rosemary
✓ tomatoes
✓ olive oil

Wash the potatoes and cut them up into long wedges. Place on a baking tray and drizzle with some olive oil. Add a lot of mixed chicken spice. And when I say a lot I mean go all out - Five Guys kinda all out. Add a good pinch of dried rosemary and Cayenne pepper. Mix everything so the potatoes are evenly covered in all the spices. Now throw in some cherry tomatoes or chopped up regular tomatoes. Place in preheated oven (180 degrees) for half an hour. And there you have the most delicious spicy potato wedges in the world. Nom!

If you have some spare time and a very hungry belly, add a few chicken wings or thighs - and cover in the same spices. Super quick and delicious!

What’s your favourite quick supper recipe?
